Twins?

I had to write this post for my awesome sister. She is about 6 1/2 months pregnant but she is big! We keep teasing her that she is going to have twins but she says she is only having one. She is just so little that it is almost comical to see her with such a big belly(which is about the only place she has gained weight:) She is so cute and I wish her the best of luck.

New Nephew

As many of you know my brother now has TWO babies. He just welcomed my new nephew Cody about two weeks ago. He is so cute and cuddly and I love this little guy. My brother is an awesome dad. He is so devoted to his kids and is constantly changing, feeding, dressing or playing with one of them. I know that he has his work cut out for him but I hope he knows how much I look up to him for taking such good care of his responsibilities. He is my Awesome brother!!!

Easter Sunday.

I love Easter Sunday. For a couple of reasons.

#1 I love to go to church and listen to all the stories about Jesus' Resurrection. I always leave church with a renewed sense that Jesus' died and was resurrected for me and I can always feel how much I am loved by God. No matter how much I am doubting things in my life I can always count on feeling a sense of overwhelming love. It is so wonderful. I wish I can always feel that way but at always life gets in the way and I become human again.

#2 I love to see my girls and son all dressed up in their new church clothes that my Dad and Debbie send them. They have such good taste (Even growing up I knew my dad always picked out better clothes than my mom): My kids always look so groomed and wonderful on that day.

#3 I love to watch the kids do egg hunts. Every year we have an egg hunt at my mom's with the cousins and then we have one in the backyard with the Bergsjo cousins. I love to see the anticipation on the kids faces as they line up and then someone yells go and it is total udder chaos for a whole 30 seconds with kids screaming, and yelling and having a blast. I absolutely love it and my kids look so forward to that all year. Then we enjoy a delicious dinner. I am so thankful for all the family that we live around and for all the family that join us in making Easter a fun holiday for all the kids.

Dying Eggs!!! UGH!

Kenzie, Ryan, and Lyndsey in a rare moment that Kenzie is not beating them up.
Kenzie checking out the kids egg work.

Ashton concentrating.

Kenzie was so excited to turn a white egg green.

Kenzie was under the impression we were going egg hunting with her halloween basket! Silly girl!

On Thursday my sister in law Tara was so nice to invite us over to dye Easter eggs. Now normally people do this every year but I will let everyone in on a little secret. I don't do the egg dying in our family! I did it once when Ashton was almost 4 and Kaylee was almost 2 and I was so irritated about the mess and the dye on the kids clothes and cleaning up that Marty has been very nice and taken over that job with the kids. It seems to work out better and the kids have a lot more fun without a mom who is so stressed that she can't enjoy herself. Well this year was better. Probably partly because my kids are now almost 11 and 9 and the baby really wasn't that into it. It turned out alot better and I wasn't nearly as stressed as in the past. Thanks Tara for the invite.

Baby Animal Days

My sister in laws and I were able to go to the American west heritage centers baby animal days this year. I have never been able to go but I was kinda wanting to let Kenzie get out and see some sites so off we went. I didn't know how much Ashton and Kaylee would like it but they loved it as well. Our first encounter with an animal ended with the goat trying to suck Kenzies thumb. She didn't like that and that was almost the last encounter she had with an animal. The only other animal she touched was a snake. It was good to get out and it was fun for the kids to be able to enjoy the day with their cousins. Thanks for inviting us!

The Shack

This is my latest find and for all those who have read it I would love to know what you think of it. For thoseof you who haven't read it I think it is a great book. Definetly one that would be great to discuss. Hope you all enjoy.

Will I ever get it right!

My sister got married in June OF LAST YEAR, and this is what they got from me for a wedding present. Or should I say getting from me. I am finally putting the finishing touches on this lovely clock when I realize that their last name is spelled wrong-AGAIN. Yes, I have ordered stickers twice for this project and both times I have given the lady the wrong spelling. The funny thing about this is that I was about to peel the stickers and was thinking to myself "wouldn't it be funny if I spelled the name wrong" and having to double check things like I do I got on the Internet and looked up her name and realized it is spelled Kaumo. Who decided that K and C should sound the same anyway? I would really like to talk to that person-RIGHT NOW!

As Long as I have my Sister.

On Saturday I had to work and Marty and Ashton had to go clean the church. Kaylee has been a very good babysitter when it is just for short periods of time. When she is in charge she takes excellent care of her sister. We find her very stylish in all kinds of clothes we didn't realize went together. She always has her clean and her hair done. So on Saturday, I ended up finding the kids and Marty at walmart. I just had to laugh at how CUTE Kenzie was dressed. Enjoy the pics!
