Kenzie Rae Bergsjo

Here is my sweet little baby. I can't beleive that she is a year and a half. These were done by my sister in law and I think they turned out great.

Potty Training Kenzie's way

Kenzie has started getting interested in her potty chair. But obviously she thinks it is more fun to wear it than use it. My mom and I were sitting down in the dining room having lunch and Kenzie was watching Elmo in the living room. I went to check on her and this is what I found. i about dyed laughing. She was totally content to wear the rubber part of her seat on her head and then she played peak-a-boo with it and then she tried to hula hoop with it. I guess it will get its use out of it. This kid just cracks me up!

Growing Pains!

Recently Ashton has been such a butt. He has become ornery, irritable, argumentative, and moody. So yesterday I told him to think about some things that we could do to make his life better. (I know- we COULD disappear but what fun would that be!) So these are the things that he says we are or aren't doing that are upsetting him:

1) He needs a cell phone! He just doesn't understand why we won't pay for a cell phone for him so he can call the two friends he has and text the person standing next to him! What is wrong with us!

2) We yell at him too much. He also doesn't get why HE should have to take out the trash when HE is not the only one using it. Or why HE is not the only one that has 24 access to the computer! He has important stuff you know.

And last but not least...

3) He is not a baby and therefore should be allowed to stay up until 11 pm. Who needs sleep anyway!

So after careful consideration Marty and I agreed that after he saves up $240 (the cost of a year worth of cell service) then he can get a cell phone. We will also try not to yell so much on the condition that he helps out HAPPILY to do chores and we compromised on a 10 pm bedtime as long as he stops being so moody. Were not perfect and these aren't perfect solutions but hopefully we can help restore some happiness to our house! Wish us luck.
