All pooped out!! That was hard work.

Kenzie had two firsts yesterday. She was sitting in her bouncer and was screaming for what reason we don't know. So Ashton, Kaylee and I were all trying to figure out what she wanted and all of a sudden she started arching her back and bouncing and screaming and crying. She continued on for about 30 seconds before she finally stopped and looked at us all who were laughing hysterically. Now I know we won't be laughing for long but it was so funny to see her throw her first temper tantrum. Later that afternoon, I was watching Lyndsey and Ally and Kenzie though she was going to play little pet shops with Lyndsey so pretty soon she just started to crawl. I know that she is nine months and that is late but she is the baby and I would be content if she didn't crawl forever! It was so funny to see her get what she wanted. She got pretty pooped out and then for the rest of the night she just continued to roll to get what she wanted. Guess she decided that was easier. She is getting so big and I am missing her being a baby already!

It's all about Kaylee

Hannah Montana Doll

Blowing out her Hannah Montana Cake
Her new Hannah Montana Outfit
Opening her Hannah Montana Chair
Her white board that she has wanted forever

On Sunday we celebrated Kaylee's eighth birthday. As you can tell she is still Hannah Montana crazy. She got a ton of Hannah stuff as well as her white board and a cool spy kit. When she opened her Hannah chair she said " I am going to be Hannah Montana famous!" It was so funny. Kaylee only likes rainbow chip cake so for the last three years we have made her cake and decorated it. This year she told me that she wanted a rainbow chip cake but when I frosted it go easy on the frosting so she would have some to eat from the container. Nothing like thinking about herself. That's my Kaylee. It was a great day and a good end to our busy week.

The Bridal Shower

Thursday night we threw dani a bridal shower. She had a lot of family attend and also some of her friends from out of town. We played a game where we asked Rickie 20 questions about himself and then we asked Dani the same questions to see how well she knew him. For every question she got wrong she had to chew a piece of gum. As you can see, she has a lot to learn! It was great fun though. We also enjoyed food of course. She received alot of good gifts and I think the shower was a success. Afterward, a couple of her friends and my step sister and I went and hung out at Iggie's and chatted about the old days. I don't know when my sister got so mature but it was fun to hang out with them all. I'm glad that she is going to live closer so I get to see her more.

Family is the Best!

My Dad, his wife Debbie, and my step-sister Billie and my nephew Ayden all came into town on Wednesday. Thursday we just got to hang out with them and spend some time with them before all the hoopla of the wedding started. Ayden and Kaylee were attached at the hip. Where she went, he went. What she did, he did etc. It was so cute. He loves his cousins and they love him. We went to Taco Time for lunch and when we were done kaylee wanted to take Ayden to Honks. So off we went and when we got there she told him "Pick whatever you want out of this whole store." I told her she didn't have to buy anything and she told me that he lives so far away that she wanted to get him something for his birthday. It was so cute. Then he went and picked out a pair of glasses that came with a phone and also picked her out a matching pair. I think she had something else in mind for herself but she was a good sport and got the matching glasses and phone. They were so funny. It took us three times to get a phone that worked for Ayden but when we finally got it off they were wearing their glasses and chatting on their phones. While they were here we had fun touring Willow Park and my step sister loved how pretty it was here. Funny, because I think it is beautiful where they live as well. It was so fun to have them all here. As always, I love to visit with my Dad and Debbie and was sad to see them all go this morning. Hopefully it won't be too long before we are able to take a trip up there.

Last day of school

The kids got out at 1 on their last day of school and wanted to have a party so being the mom I am why not I say. So we set up the slide and they invited a couple of friends over and I bought treats and they just had a good time. It started to rain halfway through their party so the boys ended up playing video games and the girls were doing the girl thing in Kaylee's room. It was a lot of fun and a great way to start the summer.

Busy Times

I know it has been forever since I posted but since the kids got out of school we have been busy. As most of you know, my sister is getting married on Saturday so I have also been running with her to get all the last minute details done. We have made a few trips to Ogden, which have turned into over nighters and just pretty much been enjoying no schedules. It has been a nice switch to go to bed when we want and get up when we want and go where we want and when we want. I have a feeling our summer is going to be like that quite often. Today I am going to get my dress altered for the wedding. I know it is only 5 days away but I have a story. I quit drinking pop about three weeks ago. I was hoping I would lose some of my baby stomach but instead lost my boobs. So needless to say the dress I tried on a month ago is now fit for someone who is about 2 sizes bigger than me. Unfortunately, the chest is the only place I have lost. Keep trying is what they all tell me. So I am off to get that done and then it is cleaning the garage. I have been putting it off for about a year and I guess now that I have company coming what better time. I will post pics of the last couple of weeks to catch everyone up on our lives.

Here's Dani's engagement photo. I think they make a cute couple and we are happy richie is joining our family. And wish HIM luck! Love ya Dani!
